Fit-out Engineer

Job PurposeTo execute, supervise, and coordinate fit-out and finishing works across construction projects, ensuring compliance with approved drawings, technical specifications, quality standards, and project schedules while maintaining safety and cost efficiency.Key ResponsibilitiesSupervise daily fit-out and finishing activities at project sites.Monitor flooring, ceiling, partitioning, painting, joinery, doors, glazing, and other interior finishing works.Review architectural drawings, shop drawings, material submittals, and technical specifications.Coordinate with civil, architectural, MEP, and other project teams to resolve site-related issues.Ensure all works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and quality standards.Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, supervisors, and site workers to ensure smooth execution.Monitor work progress, material requirements, manpower, and installation schedules.Conduct site inspections and ensure timely rectification of defects and non-conforming works.Assist in quantity take-offs, material estimation, and cost monitoring.Prepare daily progress reports, inspection requests, and site documentation.Ensure compliance with site safety requirements and applicable Saudi regulations.Must be in snagging, final inspections, and project handover activities.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Architecture, or a related field.Maximum 10 years of Proven experience in fit-out and finishing works within construction or contracting companies.Practical experience in interior finishing, material installation, and site supervision.Good knowledge of architectural drawings, shop drawings, construction materials, and finishing techniques.Familiarity with quality control procedures, site safety requirements, and applicable Saudi regulations.Proficiency in AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, and relevant engineering software.Ability to coordinate with subcontractors, consultants, suppliers, and project teams.Key SkillsSite supervision and technical coordination.Reading and interpreting construction drawings.Quality control and attention to detail.Planning, time management, and problem-solving.Material estimation and progress monitoring.Communication, teamwork, and reporting skills.Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)Timely execution of assigned fit-out activities.Compliance with approved drawings and quality standards.Reduction in defects, rework, and snagging items.Efficient material utilization and workmanship.Timely submission of site reports and inspection requests.Compliance with safety requirements and project specifications.AccountabilityThe Fit-out Engineer is accountable for the proper execution and supervision of assigned fit-out and finishing works, ensuring quality workmanship, technical compliance, effective site coordination, and timely completion in accordance with project requirements and company standards.How to Apply:-📩 Send your cv to "careers@gmccksa.com" with the subject line "Fit-out Engineer".
