Fit Out Technical Design Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Fit Out Technical Design Manager to lead and oversee the design phase of interior fit out projects in Riyadh. The ideal candidate will manage technical designs ensuring compliance with client specifications, local regulations, and quality standards, while coordinating with multidisciplinary teams to deliver innovative and cost-effective solutions on time.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage the technical design process for fit out projects from concept to completion. - Coordinate and collaborate with architects, engineers, contractors, and clients to ensure design alignment and project requirements are met. - Review and approve technical drawings, specifications, and documents ensuring accuracy and compliance with standards. - Ensure all design activities comply with local building codes, safety regulations, and sustainability guidelines. - Provide technical guidance and support to project teams during implementation phases. - Manage design-related risks and resolve design issues proactively. - Oversee value engineering exercises to optimize project costs and functionality. - Prepare design reports and presentations for internal and client meetings. - Stay updated with the latest design trends, materials, and technologies in the fit out sector. - Bachelor's degree in Architecture, Interior Design, Engineering, or related field. - Minimum 8 years of experience in fit out technical design management, preferably within the construction industry. - In-depth knowledge of building codes, safety standards, and construction regulations in Saudi Arabia. - Strong proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Revit, and 3D modelling tools. - Excellent leadership and communication skills with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams. - Proven track record of delivering projects on time and within budget. - Problem-solving mindset and ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment. - Fluency in English is required; proficiency in Arabic is a plus. - Willingness to relocate to Riyadh and adapt to the local work culture.
