Founding CEO | Cybersecurity SaaSHybrid | LondonUp to £150,000 base + 20% fully diluted equitySenzo is exclusively partnering with an established venture builder to appoint the Founding CEO of a new enterprise cybersecurity company.Building in stealth, the venture is addressing a significant and increasingly complex challenge within enterprise identity security, an area where organisations are investing heavily but still face fundamental questions about the effectiveness of their existing controls. This is an opportunity to build and lead a cybersecurity business from its earliest stages, but importantly, not from a standing start. The venture already has a working product, an experienced technical cofounder in place, and a number of enterprise design partners preparing to trial the technology. It also benefits from access to an established network of CISOs and senior security leaders, alongside the capital, expertise and operational support of its venture backing. The foundations are in place. The next challenge is turning that early momentum into a commercially successful business. The opportunityAs Founding CEO, you will take ownership of the company's commercial and strategic direction, working closely with the technical cofounder and venture building team.Your initial priority will be to establish product market fit, validate the commercial proposition and convert early enterprise engagement into paying customers. From there, you will shape the route to market, influence product strategy, build the founding team and lead the business through its next phase of growth and investment. This is a genuinely hands on founding role. You will be personally involved in customer discovery, enterprise sales, commercial negotiations and the decisions that determine how the business develops. You'll need to be equally comfortable speaking with CISOs, challenging product assumptions and making commercial decisions without the infrastructure of an established organisation. The opportunity offers significant autonomy and ownership, supported by experienced investors, technical resources and an established enterprise cybersecurity network.Who we're looking forWe're particularly interested in individuals who have helped build and commercialise enterprise cybersecurity software businesses at an early stage. You might be a former founder or CEO looking for your next venture. Equally, you could be a founding CRO, VP of Sales or senior commercial leader who has helped take a cybersecurity business from its earliest customers into meaningful revenue growth and is now ready to take full ownership.Previous CEO experience is welcome, but it is not essential. What matters is your ability to create commercial momentum, make sound strategic decisions and operate with the ownership and judgement expected of a founder. You will bring:A strong background in enterprise cybersecurity software, with credibility among CISOs and senior security decision makers.A proven track record of personally originating, negotiating and closing complex enterprise software deals, ideally with six figure contract values.Experience building commercial traction in an early stage environment, where the proposition, customer base and sales processes were still developing. The ability to translate complex technical capabilities into a compelling business proposition.Commercial and product judgement, including the ability to distinguish genuine customer demand from interesting but commercially limited opportunities.Experience shaping go to market strategy, building relationships and creating repeatable revenue. The ambition, resilience and practical mindset required to build a business from its foundations.Experience in identity security, access management, cloud security or security posture management would be particularly relevant, although we are open to candidates from adjacent areas of enterprise cybersecurity.Above all, we're looking for someone who wants to build a company, rather than simply lead an established one.Why this opportunity?Founding a cybersecurity business typically means starting with an idea, assembling the technical capability, securing funding and then attempting to find the first customers. This opportunity offers a different starting point. There is already a product to take to market, a technical cofounder to build alongside and early engagement with enterprise security leaders who recognise the problem being addressed. The venture also benefits from the financial and operational support of an established venture builder, providing access to expertise, resources and relationships that would ordinarily take considerable time to develop. That doesn't remove the challenges of building an early stage business. Product market fit, commercial adoption and recurring revenue still need to be established. But it creates an opportunity for the incoming CEO to focus on building a commercially successful company, with meaningful founding ownership and the support to give it every chance of success.Location and remuneration

Location: UK based, ideally London or within practical travelling distance.

The role will involve regular engagement with enterprise customers and collaboration in London.Base salary: Up to £150,000.Equity: Significant founding equity, expected to be approximately 20% (fully diluted), subject to final terms. This is a full time, long term founding leadership opportunity.Interested? This won't be the right opportunity for everyone. We're looking for someone who understands both the potential and the uncertainty of building a company at this stage, and who is motivated by the opportunity to create something of lasting value. If you've built commercial momentum in enterprise cybersecurity and believe you're ready to take the next step into founding leadership, we'd welcome a confidential conversation.Apply directly or contact Senzo Group for further information.
