Alongside our client work, we build and own our own products — the first of which, Fameo, is a verified community platform for India's creators, influencers and public figures, already live on the App Store and Google Play.We work on real-world software products where frontend experiences, backend systems and databases come together. Building a feature is only one part of the job. Understanding how data flows, how APIs communicate, how applications are structured, and how everything works together is equally important.You'll work with our development team on live products, contribute to actual engineering work, and learn how production applications are built, maintained and improved.What's the Role AboutYou'll work across the full stack, building frontend interfaces, backend APIs and database-driven features. You'll spend time understanding how an application works as a complete system, not just how to make an individual component or API function.You'll build interfaces using React and Next.js, develop backend functionality using Node.js and Express, and work with PostgreSQL and MongoDB to manage application data. You'll also work with existing codebases, integrate APIs, debug issues and contribute to features that become part of our live products.Three things matter more than the number of technologies you've listed on your resume:Strong fundamentals. You understand JavaScript, how the web works, how frontend and backend communicate, and how data moves through an application. You don't depend on frameworks to understand basic programming concepts.Problem-solving. You can break a requirement into smaller problems, investigate errors, understand why something isn't working and find a solution instead of blindly copying code.Ownership and learning. You take responsibility for what you build, accept feedback, follow development standards and continuously improve. Strong understanding of JavaScript, ES6+, asynchronous programming, promises, closures, objects and array methods.Frontend development. Understanding of HTML, CSS, responsive design and React.js, including components, props, state and hooks.Next.js understanding. Familiarity with Next.js fundamentals, routing, rendering and application structure.Backend development. Basic understanding of Node.js, Express.js, REST APIs, HTTP methods, middleware and request-response handling.Database fundamentals. Understanding of relational and NoSQL databases, with familiarity in PostgreSQL and MongoDB.API integration. Ability to connect frontend applications with backend services and understand JSON-based communication.Development practices. Basic knowledge of Git, GitHub, debugging and writing maintainable code.AI fluency with judgment. Comfortable using tools such as Cursor, GitHub Copilot and ChatGPT while understanding, reviewing and validating the code they generate.Practical experience.
