Gallery Sales Associate

At Alchemy we are working with an established Berlin based gallery who are looking to bring on a Gallery Sales Associate to their team. Responsibilities include: Assist with the preparation of exhibitions and art fairs, collaborating with artists estates and other partnering galleries. Work on the gallery’s press and public relations. Update artworks onto gallery’s database and complete all inventory. Help assist with invoicing, filing receipt and uploading all documentation. Manage the events within the Gallery space. Carry out diary management and reception duties, answering the phones and responding to enquiriesAssisting with all post-sale duties and invoicingSupport art handling and other staff members with additional work when necessary. Confident taking ownership of tasks while collaborating effectively with a collaborative team.

Key Requirements

Extensive experience operating in an international gallery. Knowledge of working with 20th century art. Comfortable working independently within a close-knit team in a fast-paced environment.Confidentiality while speaking with clients, visitors and collectors. Proficiency in both German and English. Experience using gallery management systems such as ArtLogic. Competent with Adobe Photoshop, InDesign and other image-editing software.Holds a valid Class B (or equivalent full UK) driving licence (desirable).Sound like the role for you? Apply below.
