Head of AI Implementation & EnablementWe’re working with a large, purpose-led organisation looking for a Head of AI Implementation & Enablement to lead its AI Centre of Excellence and accelerate the responsible adoption of AI across the organisation.This isn’t about launching endless AI pilots. It’s about taking AI beyond experimentation and embedding it into how a complex organisation actually works.You’ll lead an established AI team across Product, Delivery and Technology, helping identify where AI can create genuine value, removing barriers to adoption and scaling the initiatives that make a measurable difference.What you'll be doingLead and develop the AI Centre of Excellence.Drive enterprise-wide adoption of Generative and Agentic AI.Create pragmatic AI governance and frameworks that help teams move quickly and safely.Prioritise AI opportunities based on business value and measurable impact.Take successful pilots through to sustainable, scaled services.Work with senior stakeholders to rethink processes and ways of working.Build AI literacy, confidence and engagement across the organisation.Measure benefits and ROI, and stop initiatives that aren't delivering value.What we're looking forThis is not a deeply technical AI engineering role. We're looking for someone who understands AI but is equally strong with people, organisational change and getting things done.You'll ideally have:Experience leading AI adoption or technology-enabled transformation in a large, complex organisation.Excellent stakeholder management and influencing skills.Experience creating pragmatic AI governance, frameworks or operating models.A track record of moving technology beyond pilots and delivering change at scale.Strong experience measuring business outcomes, benefits and ROI.Good practical knowledge of Generative AI, LLMs and AI agents.The resilience and leadership skills to drive meaningful cultural change.This is a rare opportunity to shape how a major organisation adopts AI at scale, with the backing of senior leadership and a genuinely meaningful mission.If you're passionate about AI but believe its real value comes from adoption, impact and scale rather than experimentation for experimentation's sake, I'd love to hear from you.
