We are partnering with an insurance company to find a strategic leader who will drive their enterprise data strategy and modernization agenda. Reporting directly to the C-suite leadership team, this role is critical in shaping the organization's technological foundations, establishing robust governance, and positioning the business for advanced analytics and future AI readiness.ResponsibilitiesLead the overarching data capability strategy while building sustainable succession pathways and strengthening internal team competenciesDrive the continuous improvement of enterprise data platforms by establishing clear standards and promoting scalable data productsPartner with cross-functional architecture and business teams to translate strategic vision into executable roadmaps and simplified technology landscapesGovern technology risk, operational resilience, and cybersecurity requirements to proactively manage legacy systems and technology obsolescenceEvolve the organization's technical foundations to support generative AI enablement and develop engineering patterns for trusted enterprise dataQualificationsBachelor degree in related discipline15+ years of senior leadership experience steering enterprise technology, architecture, or large-scale digital transformations within financial servicesProven track record operating effectively within Agile, product-led, or capability-based operating modelsExtensive expertise in managing cloud and hybrid environments while establishing modern enterprise data platformsStrong practical understanding of data architecture, application integration, and the foundational requirements for advanced analytics and AIFluent in English and ChineseClick APPLY or email me at monique.yeung@mider.com.hk.
