Head of FP&A | IT & Change Focus | Financial Services | £110,000 - £120,000 | 2 Office Days | South London Office Location A leading financial services organisation is seeking an experienced Head of FP&A to lead financial planning, analysis and commercial support across a significant technology and transformation portfolio.This is a high-profile leadership role, partnering with senior stakeholders across Finance, Technology and Change to provide strategic insight, robust financial governance and commercial challenge on key investment decisions. You'll play a critical role in ensuring technology and change initiatives deliver value, remain aligned to business objectives and support long-term growth.The OpportunityReporting into senior finance leadership, you will lead a high-performing FP&A team responsible for all financial planning, forecasting and performance management activities across IT and project expenditure.Key responsibilities include:Leading and developing a specialist FP&A team, providing strategic financial insight and commercial challenge to senior stakeholders.Owning budgeting, forecasting and long-range planning processes across Technology and Change functions.Managing financial oversight of major projects and programmes, including CapEx, OpEx, benefits realisation and investment appraisal.Supporting enterprise-wide business planning activities and ensuring alignment across strategic initiatives.Evaluating technology investments and business cases to ensure effective allocation of resources and strong return on investment.Delivering insightful management reporting, variance analysis, financial modelling and scenario planning to support decision making.Identifying financial risks and opportunities across the portfolio and recommending mitigations.Driving continuous improvement in FP&A processes, systems, reporting and governance frameworks.Ensuring compliance with relevant regulatory, financial and risk management requirements.Candidate ProfileWe're looking for a commercially minded finance leader with strong stakeholder management skills and experience operating within complex, project-led environments.You will ideally have:ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualification.Significant FP&A experience within financial services or a similarly regulated environment.A proven track record leading and developing high-performing finance teams.Strong experience supporting Technology, Digital, Change or Transformation functions.Deep understanding of project accounting, capital investment appraisal, CapEx and OpEx management.Advanced financial modelling, forecasting and analytical capabilities.Excellent communication skills with the ability to influence and challenge senior stakeholders.Strong commercial acumen and a proactive, solutions-focused approach.Why Apply?This is an opportunity to join an organisation undertaking significant investment in technology and transformation.
