The technician will install, inspect, maintain, and repair HVAC systems to ensure safe, efficient, and reliable operation throughout the facility. Daily tasks include diagnosing mechanical and electrical issues, performing preventive maintenance, and responding to service requests in a timely manner. The role also involves working with related plumbing and electrical components, monitoring system performance, and documenting maintenance activities. The technician will collaborate with other facility and maintenance staff to support smooth operations and comply with safety and environmental regulations.Qualifications Strong troubleshooting skills for diagnosing and resolving HVAC system issuesHands-on experience with heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems, including preventive maintenanceKnowledge of electricity and electrical components related to HVAC equipmentBasic plumbing skills for systems connected to HVAC unitsUnderstanding of EPA or equivalent environmental and safety regulations relevant to HVAC workPrior experience in facility maintenance or building services, ideally in healthcare or similar environmentsAbility to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and work ordersGood communication skills and ability to work collaboratively in a diverse teamPhysical ability to perform manual work, including lifting, climbing, and working in confined spacesRelevant technical diploma, certification, or vocational training in HVAC or a related field
