Hire Purchasing Manager THE ROLEAchieve assigned hire purchase sales targets.Promote HP schemes to customers to increase product sales.Identify new business opportunities and expand the HP customer base.Conduct group sales and other institutional hire purchase sales.Evaluate customer creditworthiness before approval.Ensure proper documentation and compliance with company policies.Manage your own team for HP installment collections and manage them according to company guidelines.Remittance of monthly installment collections in a timely and proper manner.Monitor delinquent accounts and minimize bad debts.Follow up on overdue payments.Maintain updated records of receivables.Maintain strong relationships with HP customers.Resolve customer complaints related to HP agreements.Provide guidance on payment schedules and settlement procedures.Maintain accurate records of agreements and transactions.THE PERSONMinimum qualifications of GCE A/L or Diploma/professional qualification in Sales and Marketing, Finance or related field.Minimum 3 years of experience in hire purchase, leasing or consumer finance in a similar role will be an added advantage.Strong knowledge of credit assessment and recovery processes.Excellent negotiation and communication skills.Risk assessment skills.Competencies with negotiation & persuasion.Independent and ability to work in pressure situations.
