The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating an excellent first impression, welcoming guests, managing reservations, and ensuring a smooth and pleasant guest experience from arrival to seating.The successful candidate must possess excellent communication skills, a polished appearance, and a genuine passion for hospitality and customer service.## Key Responsibilities- Welcome and greet guests warmly upon arrival, ensuring a professional and memorable first impression.- Manage guest reservations, walk-ins, waiting lists, and table allocations efficiently.- Coordinate with restaurant management and service teams to ensure smooth guest seating and service flow.- Escort guests to their tables and present menus professionally.- Handle guest inquiries, special requests, and seating preferences courteously.- Monitor table availability and maintain an organized seating plan during peak service hours.- Manage guest waiting times and communicate delays professionally.- Assist in handling guest complaints and escalate concerns to the Restaurant Manager when necessary.- Maintain the cleanliness, organization, and presentation of the reception and waiting areas.- Maintain accurate reservation records and guest information while respecting confidentiality.- Support the restaurant team in delivering exceptional hospitality and maintaining service standards.## Requirements- Previous experience as a Host/Hostess, Receptionist, or in a similar customer-facing hospitality role.- Experience in upscale casual, fine-dining, or premium restaurant environments is highly preferred.- Excellent verbal communication and interpersonal skills.- Professional appearance, positive attitude, and strong customer-service orientation.- Good organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.- Ability to remain calm, courteous, and professional during busy service periods.- Good English communication skills; additional languages are an advantage.- Familiarity with restaurant reservation systems and table management is preferred.- Ability to work flexible shifts, including weekends and public holidays, as required.## Preferred Candidate Profile- Guest-focused, welcoming, and naturally service-oriented.- Confident in communicating with guests from diverse backgrounds.- Professional, well-presented, and attentive to detail.- Able to work collaboratively with front-of-house and kitchen teams.- Committed to maintaining high hospitality standards and creating memorable guest experiences.
