HSE Engineer

We are seeking a dedicated HSE Engineer to join our team in Abu Dhabi. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring health, safety, and environmental standards are upheld throughout our fitout, maintenance, and construction projects. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HSE policies and procedures in compliance with local regulations and industry standards. - Conduct regular site inspections and risk assessments to identify hazards and ensure corrective actions are taken. - Provide training and guidance to employees and subcontractors on health, safety, and environmental best practices. - Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses, and compile detailed reports with recommendations to prevent recurrence. - Monitor and report on HSE performance metrics and maintain all documentation related to safety audits and inspections. - Collaborate with project managers and other departments to integrate HSE considerations into project planning and execution. - Ensure proper use and maintenance of personal protective equipment (PPE) and safety systems on site. - Promote a culture of safety awareness and continuous improvement across all levels of the organization. - Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Environmental Health, Safety Management, or a related field. - Proven experience as an HSE Engineer or similar role within the construction or fitout industry. - In-depth knowledge of UAE health, safety, and environmental regulations and standards. - Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail. - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively train and engage teams. - Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team. - Relevant certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, or equivalent are highly desirable. - Proficiency in report writing and HSE management software. - Commitment to promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy work environment.
