HSE Manager

UCK JV EPC is looking for an experienced HSE Manager to lead health, safety and environmental management across our CCGT, conventional power and PV projects in Syria.Key responsibilities:Lead the project HSE function and promote a Zero Harm cultureImplement the HSE Management System, procedures and risk registersOversee risk assessments, JSAs and critical controls for high-risk activities (lifting, excavation, work at height, confined spaces, electrical and hot work, SIMOPS)Enforce the Permit to Work system, with stop-work authorityManage Syria-specific risks, including UXO/ERW clearance, site security and emergency preparednessManage subcontractor HSE performance and build a competent HSE teamEnsure ESIA/ESMP and IFC/World Bank EHS complianceLead incident investigations, audits, inspections and HSE reporting (KPIs)Standards: ISO 45001, IFC Performance Standards, Syrian legislation and Employer requirements.
