IT & Cybersecurity Manager | Dubai, UAESELECTED is partnering with a leading global retailer to hire an IT & Cybersecurity Manager for its Middle East regional office in Dubai. This is a newly created role. You’ll lead IT and cybersecurity across the GCC business, as the senior IT person in the region.The roleYou’ll own the IT function end to end. That means keeping systems secure, reliable and high performing, shaping the technology roadmap, and driving automation and AI adoption, all in line with the brand’s global IT and security standards.What you’ll doLead and develop the regional IT function, managing an IT SpecialistEnsure the stability, performance and availability of IT systemsOwn the annual IT roadmap and budgetManage IT vendors and service providersOwn the organisation’s cybersecurity posture and complianceMaintain incident response, backup and disaster recoveryDrive automation, AI adoption and digital transformationWhat you’ll bringProven experience managing IT, ideally as the senior IT person in an organisationA genuine cybersecurity background, having owned an organisation’s security postureStrong hands-on skills across Microsoft 365, Entra ID, Intune and cloud (Azure and/or AWS)Experience with security platforms and IAM solutions (e.g. CrowdStrike, Defender, Okta, Netskope, Mimecast)Working knowledge of UAE / GCC data protection and regulatory requirementsExperience managing vendors, budgets and at least one direct reportExcellent English, with the ability to explain technology to non-technical stakeholdersBachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Cybersecurity or similarNice to haveSecurity certifications such as CompTIA Security+, SSCP, CISSP or Microsoft security certificationsExperience in retail, consumer goods or a multi-country regional businessExposure to SAP S/4HANA and ServiceNow
