Infrastructure Architect (HPC & Enterprise Infrastructure)

We are seeking an experienced Infrastructure Architect to join a major technology transformation program in Riyadh. This role will be responsible for defining and designing enterprise-scale compute, storage, virtualization, and infrastructure architectures supporting advanced HPC and AI environments.The successful candidate will work closely with HPC, AI, data center, network, security, and operations teams to develop robust, scalable, and resilient infrastructure platforms capable of supporting mission-critical workloads.This is an excellent opportunity for infrastructure professionals with experience delivering large-scale enterprise, HPC, supercomputing, or AI infrastructure environments.Key ResponsibilitiesDesign end-to-end infrastructure architectures covering compute, storage, virtualization, backup, and supporting platforms.Define infrastructure requirements aligned with business, technical, performance, scalability, and resilience objectives.Develop infrastructure sizing models based on workload, capacity, availability, and growth requirements.Evaluate infrastructure technologies, solutions, and architecture approaches to ensure optimal performance and cost efficiency.Define integration requirements across compute, storage, networking, security, and operational environments.Review technical designs, architecture documents, infrastructure specifications, and vendor proposals.Collaborate with HPC, AI, data center, network, security, and operations teams to ensure architecture alignment.Develop architecture standards, technical recommendations, reference designs, and infrastructure blueprints.Support infrastructure planning, technology selection, and strategic architecture decision-making.Work closely with leading infrastructure vendors, technology partners, and systems integrators.Required Experience10+ years of experience in Infrastructure Architecture, Enterprise Architecture, or Solution Architecture roles.Strong experience designing enterprise-scale compute and storage environments.Proven expertise in infrastructure sizing, capacity planning, scalability assessment, and resiliency design.Hands-on experience with:Enterprise ServersStorage PlatformsVirtualization TechnologiesBackup & Recovery SolutionsData Center InfrastructureStrong understanding of high-availability, disaster recovery, performance optimization, and infrastructure security principles.Experience working with major infrastructure vendors such as:Dell TechnologiesHPELenovoIBMNetAppPure StorageNVIDIACiscoExperience reviewing and evaluating vendor solutions, RFP responses, and infrastructure proposals.Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.Preferred ExperienceExperience supporting High Performance Computing (HPC) environments.Experience supporting AI infrastructure and GPU-based architectures.Experience within large-scale enterprise, research, supercomputing, government, or national technology programs.Familiarity with Kubernetes, containerized infrastructure, and modern platform architectures.Experience working with globally recognized HPC and supercomputing organizations.Education & CertificationsBachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) – MandatoryVMware Certified Professional (VCP) – MandatoryCertified Kubernetes Administrator (CKA) – PreferredContract Duration: 12 Month - Extendable
