Interim Commercial Technology & Outsourcing Lawyer- £120k-£160k- Financial Services

We are currently working on an excellent opportunity for a Senior Commercial Technology & Outsourcing Lawyer to join the legal team of a major global financial services organisation on an initial 12-month fixed-term contract (with good permanent potential and additional benefits) This would suit an experienced lawyer with a strong background in complex commercial contracts, technology, outsourcing and third-party supplier arrangements, ideally gained within a bank, asset manager, financial institution or leading law firm advising regulated financial services clients.The role will include:Drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial and technology agreements, including MSAs, SOWs, SaaS, software licensing, outsourcing and supplier agreementsAdvising on regulated outsourcing, third-party risk and operational resilience requirementsSupporting regulatory contract remediation and change projectsWorking closely with Procurement, Vendor Management, Data Protection, Information Security and business stakeholdersManaging matters throughout the full contracting lifecycle, from initial instruction and negotiation through to executionProviding pragmatic legal and regulatory advice to senior stakeholders across a global businessThe ideal candidate will have:Qualification as an England & Wales solicitorStrong commercial contracts and technology experienceExperience of outsourcing and/or complex vendor arrangementsPrevious exposure to the financial services sectorAn understanding of the regulatory considerations affecting outsourcing and third-party contractsThe ability to independently manage complex negotiations and multiple senior stakeholdersThis is a particularly interesting opportunity for someone coming from a Commercial Technology, IT/Outsourcing or Financial Services Technology practice, or an in-house legal team.
