This really is a unique opportunity to fast track your career!The Role:General Ledger Maintenance: Prepare, post, and process daily journal entries to ensure all business transactions are accurately recorded.Accounts Payable & Receivable: Process incoming vendor invoices, match purchase orders, issue client billings, and assist with collections.Bank Reconciliations: Perform monthly reconciliations of bank statements and credit card accounts against internal ledgers to identify discrepancies.Expense & Cash Management: Review, verify, and reconcile employee expense reports and manage petty cash accounts.Month-End Support: Assist senior accounting staff with trial balances, account analysis, and the preparation of monthly financial statements.Audit & Tax Readiness: Organize files and gather financial documentation required for external audits and corporate tax filings.The Person:University Degree within a business accounting or finance is preferred or equivalent professional experience1 year working experience on similar positionsIdeally you will have had experience Back Office PaymentsAble to build strong relationships and interface with senior levels of the businessExcellent communication, negotiation and persuasive skillsFluent English is a pre-requisite and French is beneficialAdvanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables) and exposure to accounting software like QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, or SageONLY EU nationals or those with a valid and current Luxembourg work visa will be accepted.
