Junior DevOps Engineer

Role SummaryYou will get new customers live on Envizom, both on their own servers (on-premise / local deployment) and on cloud, and keep those deployments healthy after go-live. You will work with our engineering team and the customer's IT team from the first server checklist to handover.Key ResponsibilitiesCustomer onboarding - on-premise / local deploymentShare server prerequisites (VM sizing, OS, ports, firewall, domain, SSL) and guide the customer's IT team.Install and configure Envizom on customer servers: Docker, Node.js services, Nginx, PostgreSQL and Cassandra.Work within customer constraints such as VPN-only access, restricted internet and limited sudo rights.Customer onboarding - cloud deploymentProvision VMs, networks, firewalls and storage on GCP, AWS, Azure, DigitalOcean or regional providers.Deploy in the region the customer needs, including in-country hosting for data-residency rules.Set up DNS, SSL, backups and monitoring; configure organisations, users and devices in Envizom.Operations & automationAutomate repetitive install, backup and health-check tasks with Bash or Python scripts.Monitor server health, verify backups, apply upgrades and maintain deployment runbooks.Connect company and third-party devices (MQTT/HTTP) and confirm data flows end to end.RequirementsB.E./B.Tech, BCA/MCA, B.Sc. IT or equivalent hands-on experience.Good command of Linux (services, logs, permissions, SSH) and working knowledge of Docker.Networking basics: DNS, ports, firewalls, reverse proxy, SSL/TLS and VPN.Hands-on experience with at least one cloud platform; basic SQL and Bash/Python scripting.Clear written and spoken English for customer calls and documentation.Good to HaveNode.js / PM2, Apache Cassandra, MQTT / IoT, Nginx configuration, CI/CD, Grafana or Prometheus, backup & DR practices, a cloud or Linux certification.What We OfferHands-on ownership of live deployments for industrial, city and government customers across India, the Middle East and Europe.Exposure to cloud, on-premise infrastructure and IoT data pipelines in one role, with mentoring from the Envizom team.A clear growth path towards DevOps / Site Reliability roles, and work that supports cleaner air.Salary - Up to 4.20 LPAFor more details please share your resume on prutha@postaresume.co.in or call on 9328361089
