We have an open position for a Junior Full Stack Developer (AI-native)Border creates solutions that help people and businesses stay connected.We build digital products and provide expert consulting to prestigious clients, from our bright and sunny office by the river in Parque das Nações, Lisbon.The way software is built has changed. At Border, engineers work alongside AI coding agents every day. Agents write much of the code; people decide what gets built, how it fits together, and whether it’s good enough to ship. We’re looking for a junior who wants to learn engineering this way, on a modern Angular + Node.js/NestJS platform.What you’ll be doingTurning business requirements into clear, testable specs, then delivering them end to end with AI coding agents (Claude Code, Cursor or similar)Reviewing, testing and improving AI-written code: catching the bugs, edge cases and security issues an agent missesBuilding and integrating REST APIs, backend services and Angular interfacesWriting the tests (Jest, Supertest) and CI checks that keep agent work safe to mergeKeeping the codebase consistent: following our patterns and raising it when generated code driftsWorking directly with clients and teammates in an agile team (Scrum/Kanban), and sharing what you learn about working with agentsWhat you’ll needResponsibility and ownership: you own what you ship, including the code an agent wrote for you. If it breaks, it’s yours to fix and explainA degree in Computer Science, Telecommunications or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent proof of real projects you’ve built and shippedSolid fundamentals: TypeScript/JavaScript, HTTP and REST, SQL, asynchronous code (Promises, RxJS Observables). You don’t need to know everything by heart, but you must be able to tell when an agent got it wrongHands-on experience building with AI coding tools, and examples you can show us (repos, projects, how you worked)A critical eye: you read diffs, run the code and question the output before trusting itClear written communication.
