Location: Home-based | Los Angeles, CATerritory: Southern California (Bakersfield down to Mexico)Compensation: $60,000–$80,000 annually + performance-based bonusPut Your Mechanical Troubleshooting Skills to WorkGurtler Industries is seeking a hands-on Field Service Technician to support established commercial and industrial laundry customers throughout Southern California (Bakersfield down to Mexico).You'll spend approximately 80% of your time providing technical service, including troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining automated chemical dispensing systems.

The remaining 20% involves strengthening customer relationships and recommending products and solutions that improve laundry operations.This is a home-based field position—not a desk job or traditional sales role.What You'll DoTroubleshoot, service, and maintain automated chemical dispensing systems, including pumps, valves, tubing, and electrical controls.Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems and perform repairs at customer facilities.Visit established commercial and industrial laundry accounts.Train customer employees on equipment operation and chemical application procedures.Manage your service schedule and territory independently.Recommend additional products and solutions when appropriate.What We're Looking ForHands-on experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical or electromechanical equipment.Commercial laundry, chemical dispensing, warewashing, water treatment, or comparable industrial field-service experience preferred.Ability to diagnose equipment problems independently at customer locations.Strong customer service, communication, and organizational skills.Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and reliable personal vehicle.Ability to travel throughout Southern California (Bakersfield down to Mexico), including occasional overnight stays.Military veterans with relevant technical or mechanical experience are encouraged to apply.Compensation & Benefits$60,000–$80,000 base salary plus performance-based bonus opportunities401(k) with company matchMedical, dental, and vision insuranceHSA and FSA optionsLife insurance and paid time offMonthly vehicle allowanceReimbursement for approved mileage, lodging, meals, and business expensesAbout Gurtler IndustriesGurtler Industries is a family-owned manufacturer of specialty chemicals and dispensing systems serving commercial and industrial laundries for more than 40 years.We combine innovative products with dependable technical service to help our customers operate efficiently and successfully.If you enjoy diagnosing equipment problems, working independently, and building long-term customer relationships, we'd like to hear from you.Apply today!
