Lead Business Systems & AI EngineerArabian Gulf Switchgear LLC (AGS) | Sharjah, UAEExperience: Approximately 7–10 years Employment: Full-Time | On-Site Industry: Manufacturing / Industrial Engineering About the OpportunityArabian Gulf Switchgear is looking for a hands-on, technically strong and self-driven Lead Business Systems & AI Engineer to develop, integrate and modernise enterprise business applications.We are seeking someone who can understand business challenges, work independently with Department Heads and personally deliver practical technology solutions from requirements gathering through development, deployment and continuous improvement. Key ResponsibilitiesGather business requirements and translate them into BRDs, FRDs and technical solutions.Design, develop, integrate, and maintain enterprise applications and ERP-related solutions.Work hands-on with Oracle Database, SQL, REST APIs, and system integrations.Connect business workflows across ERP, HRMS, MRP/APS, Production, Procurement, Inventory and Finance.Develop full-stack applications, dashboards, reporting tools, and workflow automations.Apply AI-assisted software development and practical AI solutions to improve business processes.Transform structured and unstructured business information into actionable tools.Independently own projects from requirements gathering to successful implementation.Identify opportunities for process simplification, automation, and continuous improvement. What We're Looking ForApproximately 7–10 years of relevant experience, with proven technical capability valued above years alone.Strong hands-on software development and enterprise systems experience.Demonstrated technical and functional ERP knowledge.Practical Oracle Database, SQL, API, and integration experience.Understanding of cross-functional manufacturing and enterprise workflows.Experience applying AI to software development and business automation.Strong analytical thinking, curiosity, learning agility, and interpersonal skills.Ability to engage independently with stakeholders and deliver working solutions. Added AdvantageManufacturing or industrial engineering experience.Legacy ERP modernisation and integration.MRP/APS and production planning knowledge.Lean, Lean Six Sigma or process-improvement certification.We are looking for a builder and problem-solver, not solely a project coordinator or systems administrator.
