Lead Engineer

Technical Lead – High-Growth DeepTech StartupWe're building an ambitious deeptech business and have raised $12M in pre-seed funding from renowned investors including Anthropic and Revolut.We're now looking for a Technical Lead to take ownership of core software development, drive technical direction and help build the foundations of our technology as we scale.This is a critical role within the business. You'll have the opportunity to tackle complex engineering challenges, make key architectural decisions and take ownership of software that will play a central role in the company's growth.You'll have a genuine influence on the technology we build, the engineering standards we set and how the team develops as the business scales.What you'll be doingLeading the design and development of complex, mission-critical software systems.Driving architectural decisions and setting high engineering standards across the codebase.Tackling challenging technical problems around performance, reliability and scalability.Working closely with a team of exceptional engineers to turn ambitious ideas into robust, production-ready software.Taking ownership of key technical projects from initial design through to deployment.Providing technical leadership, mentoring engineers and helping shape engineering practices as the team grows.What we're looking forStrong software engineering experience, with a background in any modern programming language. But Python and TypeScript are preferable.
