Lead Procurement Engineer - Industries

Job Summary:Madkour Group is seeking an experienced Lead Procurement Engineer to manage and lead procurement activities for industrial manufacturing operations, with a strong focus on LV Panels and HV Tower Steel Structures. The role involves strategic sourcing, supplier management, commercial negotiations, and ensuring the timely procurement of materials, equipment, and components in line with technical specifications, quality standards, and production requirements.

Key Responsibilities

Lead procurement activities for LV Panel manufacturing and HV Tower Steel Structure production.Develop procurement strategies and sourcing plans aligned with production schedules and project requirements.Identify, evaluate, and qualify suppliers and manufacturers for electrical components, steel materials, and related products.Manage RFQs, technical and commercial bid evaluations, negotiations, and purchase order issuance.Coordinate with Engineering, Production, Quality Control, and Planning teams to ensure compliance with technical specifications and delivery schedules.Monitor supplier performance, lead times, material availability, and procurement costs.Negotiate competitive pricing, payment terms, and contractual conditions.Ensure supplier compliance with quality requirements, approved specifications, and company procurement policies.Manage procurement risks and resolve supply chain challenges to avoid production delays.Lead and develop the procurement team while ensuring efficient procurement processes and cost optimization.

Job Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Engineering.Proven experience in procurement within industrial manufacturing or engineering industries.Strong exposure to LV Electrical Panels and/or HV Transmission Tower Steel Structures.Solid knowledge of electrical components, steel materials, fabrication requirements, and manufacturing processes.Proven experience in strategic sourcing, supplier evaluation, tendering, and commercial negotiations.Strong understanding of procurement processes, supply chain management, and inventory planning.Excellent leadership, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.If interested, please send your updated resume in a PDF format to: jobs@madkour.com.eg mentioning the job title in the e-mail subject.
