Litigation Lawyer

Altara Law is looking for a capable and commercially minded Lawyer to join our growing team in the UAE.We are seeking a lawyer who can independently manage matters, take ownership of client work, and deliver practical, commercially focused legal advice across litigation and corporate/commercial matters.

Key Responsibilities

Independently manage and handle legal matters from inception through to resolution.Advise clients on litigation, dispute resolution, and contentious matters.Draft, review, and negotiate a range of corporate and commercial agreements.Provide strategic legal advice on corporate and commercial matters.Manage client relationships and communicate effectively with clients and relevant stakeholders.Conduct legal research and prepare pleadings, legal opinions, submissions, and other legal documentation.Work autonomously while contributing to the wider team's objectives.

Requirements

Based in the UAE, with a strong understanding of the UAE legal landscape.Qualified lawyer with UK SQE qualification (or a UK-qualified solicitor).Demonstrable experience in both litigation and corporate/commercial law.Ability to independently run and manage legal matters with minimal supervision.Strong drafting, analytical, negotiation, and communication skills.Commercially minded, proactive, and comfortable dealing directly with clients.Excellent command of written and spoken English.
