Maintenance Technician

Role Description This full-time, on-site Maintenance Technician role is based in Dubai and supports the smooth operation of facilities, equipment, and industrial systems. The Maintenance Technician will perform routine inspections, identify issues, and carry out corrective and preventive maintenance on machinery, tools, and building systems. Responsibilities include troubleshooting mechanical and electrical faults, completing repair work, and documenting maintenance activities to ensure compliance with company standards. The role also involves coordinating with suppliers or service providers when needed, maintaining safe working practices, and supporting continuous improvement of maintenance processes to minimize downtime and extend equipment life.Qualifications Candidates should possess strong skills in Equipment Maintenance and Maintenance & Repair for machinery, tools, and facility systems.Candidates should possess solid Troubleshooting abilities to diagnose mechanical and basic electrical issues efficiently.Candidates should possess experience in Preventive Maintenance to schedule and perform routine checks that reduce equipment failures.Candidates should possess exposure to Industrial Maintenance in manufacturing or garment production environments.Relevant technical diploma or certification in mechanical, electrical, or industrial maintenance is preferred.Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and maintenance documentation.Strong safety awareness, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and within a team.Basic computer skills for maintenance logs and reporting; previous experience in the fashion, textile, or retail industry is an advantage.
