Tailor my CV for this job — freeBACE Design & Build is HiringMid-Level BIM Architect | Full-Time, In-HouseBACE Design & Build is seeking a Mid Level BIM Architect to support the development, coordination, and delivery of architectural projects. This is a full time, in-house position for an architect with strong Revit skills, sound BIM knowledge, and a disciplined approach to documentation and coordination.1. BIM Standards, Model Governance & Quality Control
- Develop and maintain architectural BIM models in accordance with project requirements, established BIM standards, and agreed naming, worksharing, and documentation protocols.
- Apply consistent modelling practices across project stages, ensuring models are organised, accurate, and suitable for coordination and documentation.
- Review models and drawings for completeness, consistency, and compliance with project requirements before formal issue.
- Identify modelling or documentation discrepancies, communicate them clearly, and follow up on their resolution.
- Maintain model quality throughout project development rather than relying on corrections at the final submission stage.2. Architectural Modelling & Documentation
- Produce and update architectural models, drawings, schedules, and other required project deliverables using Autodesk Revit.
- Develop coordinated plans, sections, elevations, details, and schedules from the model.
- Incorporate design updates and consultant information accurately, maintaining alignment between the model and issued documentation.
- Manage revisions and drawing updates in a traceable and organised manner.
- Prepare deliverables for internal review and submission in line with project requirements and agreed deadlines.3. BIM Coordination & Issue Resolution
- Coordinate architectural models with structural and MEP information, identifying clashes, inconsistencies, and interface issues.
- Communicate coordination issues to the relevant team members and track them through to resolution.
- Participate in BIM coordination meetings and contribute clear, actionable updates.
- Ensure agreed coordination changes are correctly incorporated into the model and related documentation.
- Escalate unresolved issues that may affect design quality, project coordination, or delivery milestones.4. Workflow, Communication & Delivery Accountability
- Plan and manage assigned BIM tasks in coordination with the project team and project schedule.
- Provide timely progress updates and raise risks or delays as soon as they are identified.
- Respond to review comments systematically and complete revisions within agreed timelines.
- Maintain clear communication with architects, engineers, project managers, and other project stakeholders.
- Take ownership of assigned deliverables from model development through review and issue.5. Required Qualifications & Experience
- Degree in Architecture or a related discipline.
- Mid-level experience in architectural BIM production and documentation.
- Strong working proficiency in Autodesk Revit.
- Practical experience with BIM coordination and interdisciplinary model workflows.
- Good understanding of architectural construction documentation and drawing standards.
- Strong attention to detail, organisation, and time management.
- Ability to work collaboratively in an in-house, project-based environment.Position: Full-time, in-house
