Our Ideal Candidate A strong sense of organisation, attention to detail and respect for guest privacy are essential for this role. The ideal candidate takes pride in ensuring that every guest room minibar is well-presented, accurately stocked and maintained to the resort's standards. You understand the importance of checking product quality, recording consumption correctly and completing assigned tasks efficiently without compromising accuracy. Reliable, discreet and comfortable working independently, you contribute to a seamless in-room guest experience while supporting effective inventory and cost control. Key Responsibilities Inspect, replenish and maintain guest room minibars in accordance with established product selections, par levels and presentation standards. Check minibar consumption and record charges accurately through the designated system. Monitor product expiry dates, packaging condition and stock rotation to maintain quality and freshness. Ensure minibar refrigerators, glassware and surrounding areas are clean, organised and properly presented. Verify minibar stock levels and replenish beverages, snacks and other approved products as required. Follow established procedures for occupied rooms, vacant rooms, arrivals and departures. Respect guest privacy and comply with room access, Do Not Disturb and confidentiality procedures. Maintain accurate records of minibar consumption, replenishment, stock movements and discrepancies. Assist with daily stock requisitions, inventory counts and minibar supply organisation. Handle alcoholic beverages responsibly and follow applicable hotel policies and legal requirements. Report minibar equipment defects, missing items, damaged products and unusual discrepancies promptly. Coordinate with Housekeeping, Front Office and In-Room Dining colleagues regarding room status, guest requests and minibar requirements. Respond courteously to guest enquiries and requests, referring matters to the appropriate team when necessary. Maintain cleanliness and organisation of minibar storage areas, trolleys and equipment. Follow food safety, hygiene and safe handling procedures throughout daily operations. Qualifications & Experience Previous experience in minibar operations, Housekeeping, In-Room Dining or Food & Beverage service within a hotel or resort is preferred. Basic understanding of stock control, inventory handling and product replenishment. Good attention to detail and accuracy when recording minibar consumption and charges. Familiarity with hotel billing systems or POS applications is an advantage. Understanding of food safety, hygiene and product storage practices. Basic English communication skills to understand instructions and assist guests. Professional conduct, discretion and respect for guest privacy. Ability to work independently, organise assigned tasks and meet daily operational requirements. Physical ability to handle minibar supplies and move between guest rooms throughout the shift.
