Mobile App Developer Intern

VisionRoot (Pvt) Ltd is looking for a motivated Mobile App Developer Intern to join our team.This is an opportunity for a student or early-career developer who wants to gain practical experience building modern mobile applications for Android and iOS, working with experienced team members, and strengthening their mobile application development skills.The selected candidate will work closely with Software Engineers, UI/UX Designers, AI Engineers, Business Analysts, and Project Managers to design, develop, test, and improve mobile applications.What you will doDevelop and maintain mobile applications for Android and iOS under the guidance of senior team members.Build user-friendly and responsive mobile interfaces based on UI/UX designs.Work with technologies such as Flutter, React Native, Dart, JavaScript, and TypeScript.Implement mobile application features and integrate them with backend services and REST APIs.Consume and integrate REST APIs into mobile applications.Work with authentication, authorization, user profiles, notifications, and other application features.Integrate mobile applications with databases and cloud-based services through backend APIs.Implement application navigation, state management, form handling, validation, and error handling.Integrate third-party services and SDKs when required.Assist in integrating AI-powered features into mobile applications.Test applications across different devices, screen sizes, and operating systems.Identify, debug, and resolve application issues and crashes.Write clean, maintainable, reusable, and well-structured code.Participate in code reviews and technical discussions.Work with Git and GitHub using professional development workflows.Collaborate with UI/UX designers to accurately implement designs and user experiences.Work with Business Analysts to understand requirements and expected functionality.Participate in planning, implementation, testing, debugging, documentation, and deployment activities.Assist with preparing applications for testing and production releases.Research and learn modern mobile development technologies and best practices.Contribute to internal products and client-oriented projects.What we are looking forCurrently pursuing a degree or higher education in Software Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.Basic understanding of programming and object-oriented programming concepts.Familiarity with at least one programming language such as Dart, JavaScript/TypeScript, Java, Kotlin, or C#.Basic understanding of mobile application development concepts.Familiarity with Flutter, React Native, Android, iOS, or another mobile development framework.Basic understanding of REST APIs and HTTP methods.Basic understanding of mobile UI development and responsive layouts.Basic understanding of databases and data handling.Familiarity with Git/GitHub.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.Good attention to detail.Good communication and collaboration skills.Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively.Strong willingness to learn new technologies.Genuine interest in mobile application development.Nice to haveHands-on experience with Flutter and Dart.Hands-on experience with React Native and Expo.Familiarity with native Android development using Kotlin or Java.Familiarity with native iOS development using Swift or SwiftUI.Experience integrating REST APIs into mobile applications.Familiarity with state management solutions such as Provider, Riverpod, Bloc, Redux, Zustand, or similar technologies.Experience with Firebase, including Authentication, Firestore, Cloud Messaging, or Analytics.Familiarity with Supabase or other backend-as-a-service platforms.Experience with mobile application authentication and secure token/session handling.Familiarity with local storage and databases such as SQLite.Experience with push notifications and deep linking.Familiarity with mobile application testing and debugging.Experience using Android Studio, Xcode, VS Code, or similar development tools.Familiarity with Google Play Console or Apple App Store Connect.Basic understanding of mobile application deployment and release processes.Familiarity with CI/CD for mobile applications.Experience with GitHub Actions, Fastlane, or similar mobile deployment tools.Familiarity with UI/UX design tools such as Figma.Experience integrating AI APIs, chatbots, or AI-powered features into mobile applications.Familiarity with Docker, cloud services, or backend technologies is an advantage.Understanding of Agile/Scrum development practices.Personal, university, or open-source mobile application projects are an advantage.A portfolio or published mobile
