Network Security EngineerExperience: 3 - 8 YrsRole OverviewWe are looking for a Network Security Engineer with hands-on experience in enterprise networking, firewall administration, VPN management, and network troubleshooting. The role involves maintaining secure network infrastructure, resolving security incidents, and implementing network security solutions.1. Primary Skills – Must HaveHands-on experience in configuring and managing enterprise firewalls, preferably Palo Alto, Fortinet, or Cisco.Strong knowledge of networking concepts, including routing, switching, VLANs, BGP, and OSPF.Experience in configuring and troubleshooting SSL VPN and IPsec VPN.Practical experience with firewall policies, NAT, access controls, and network segmentation.Ability to troubleshoot network connectivity, routing, DNS, and firewall-related issues.Experience managing routers, switches, and enterprise network infrastructure.Understanding of network security principles and secure network architecture.2. Secondary SkillsExperience with Palo Alto GlobalProtect or equivalent remote-access VPN solutions.Knowledge of network monitoring, security event analysis, and incident response.Experience with SIEM platforms and network monitoring tools.Understanding of vulnerability management, security patching, and risk assessment.Knowledge of Zero Trust, least-privilege access, and identity-based security policies.Familiarity with security standards such as ISO 27001, GDPR, and PCI DSS.Ability to document network configurations, troubleshoot incidents, and prepare technical reports.3. Good to HaveCertifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, CCIE, CISSP, or CISM.Experience with Fortinet FortiGate, Cisco ASA/FTD, or Juniper security products.Knowledge of network automation and scripting using Ansible or Python.Experience with security technologies such as NAC and advanced threat prevention.Exposure to cloud networking and hybrid network security environments.Experience working with vendors, infrastructure teams, and security operations teams.
