Nursing Manager (OT)

An established and rapidly growing healthcare group is seeking an experienced Nursing Manager – Operation Theatre to lead and oversee perioperative services across one of its flagship hospitals. This is an excellent opportunity for a seasoned OT leader who is passionate about clinical excellence, patient safety, operational efficiency, and team development.Key ResponsibilitiesProvide strategic and operational leadership for the Operating Theatre and Recovery Unit.Ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centered perioperative nursing care.Manage theatre operations, scheduling, staffing, and resource allocation to optimize efficiency and patient flow.Collaborate with Surgeons, Anaesthetists, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless surgical services.Drive compliance with regulatory, accreditation, infection control, and patient safety standards.Lead quality improvement initiatives and monitor departmental performance metrics.Develop, mentor, and evaluate nursing staff to promote a culture of excellence and continuous learning.Oversee theatre inventory, equipment readiness, and cost-effective utilization of resources.Ensure effective management of emergency, elective, and day surgery services.Candidate RequirementsBachelor's Degree in Nursing (Master's Degree preferred).Valid Registered Nurse license with eligibility for healthcare authority licensing in the UAE.Minimum 8 years of nursing experience, including at least 5 years within Operating Theatre/Perioperative Services.Minimum 3 years of experience in a managerial or leadership role within an acute care hospital.Strong understanding of theatre management, perioperative nursing standards, patient safety, and quality improvement.Experience with accreditation standards such as JCI or equivalent.Demonstrated ability to lead large multidisciplinary teams in a fast-paced surgical environment.Excellent leadership, communication, organizational, and stakeholder management skills.What We OfferCompetitive tax-free salary and benefits package.Opportunity to lead a high-performing perioperative team within a recognized healthcare organization.Professional development and career advancement opportunities.Collaborative and supportive working environment.Exposure to a diverse range of surgical specialties and advanced healthcare technologies.
