Novaris Search are retained with a high-growth, international fragrance house in their search for a Perfumer. This unique opportunity provides the chance to work closely with customers and take the lead on a variety of cross-category creative projects. This is very exciting time to join this company who have experienced fantastic growth (10% YOY!) and have now opened up in a new site, investing heavily in new equipment. With access to a global network of fantastic labs and creative centres, combined with the agility and flexibility that allows high speed to market, there is incredible room for growth and development with this company.Role Overview: As a Cross-Category Perfumer, you'll play a pivotal role in developing fragrance solutions for new and reformulated products. You'll collaborate closely with both commercial teams and customers, shaping commercially successful fragrances across diverse applications. Supported by robust in-house analytical and creative resources, you'll engage in the entire development process developing innovation solutions that meet performance, quality and regulatory standards.Key Responsibilities:Work daily on customer fragrance briefs across categories, delivering innovative and cost-effective fragrance solutionsDevelop and test fragrances for multiple applications, supporting both new developments and reformulationsCollaborate cross-functionally with global and regional teams, as well as commercial and customer contacts, to ensure project success.Participate in palette management and raw material quality controlContribute proactively to concept developmentCandidate Requirements: Proven experience as a perfumer/junior perfumerIdeally relevant education e.g. from ISIPCAAbility to take control of your own projectsCross-category experience and ability to work on a variety of briefsPragmatic, creative and proactiveIf you feel you could be a good fit and are interested then I'd love to hear from you.
