Perfusionist / Senior PerfusionistPosition OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Perfusionist to deliver extracorporeal circulation, oxygenation, and mechanical circulatory support in collaboration with physicians and multidisciplinary care teams. This role supports cardiac surgery and other procedures requiring specialized cardiovascular support across operating rooms, intensive care units, catheterization laboratories, and additional clinical settings.Key ResponsibilitiesSelect, prepare, operate, and monitor cardiopulmonary bypass systems and related equipment according to patient needs and physician direction.Provide perfusion services that support myocardial and organ protection during surgical and other clinical procedures.Administer blood components, medications, and fluids as directed, and perform blood conservation and concentration techniques.QualificationsSuccessful completion of an accredited perfusion education program.Certification eligible or certified by the American Board of Cardiovascular Perfusion (ABCP).BLS certification.Demonstrated knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pharmacology, and perfusion principles.Ability to independently perform routine adult perfusion procedures following orientation and competency validation.Knowledge of blood components, plasma composition of the human body and use of blood products in association of support by extracorporeal circuits and devices.
