Planning Manager

Role OverviewThe Planning Manager is responsible for leading and managing the planning and scheduling functions across industrial (Aluminium, Steel, Marble, Joinery, PODS, Readymix, GRC, Modular & Duct, Fitout, Precast Factories) and construction projects. This role ensures that project timelines, resources, and progress tracking are effectively monitored and aligned with organizational objectives. The Planning Manager plays a key role in project delivery through the development of baseline schedules, progress reporting, delay analysis, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.Key Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain, and monitor detailed project schedules using Primavera P6 or equivalent planning tools
• Establish baseline programs, milestones, and critical path activities for all assigned projects
• Coordinate with project teams to ensure accurate sequencing of activities and resource allocation
• Track project progress and prepare weekly/monthly planning reports for management review
• Identify schedule risks, delays, and constraints, proposing mitigation and recovery plans
• Conduct delay analysis and support claims or extension of time (EOT) documentation when required
• Ensure alignment between procurement schedules, construction execution, and manpower planning
• Lead planning meetings with contractors, consultants, and internal stakeholders
• Support cost control teams by integrating planning data with project budgets and forecasts
• Ensure compliance with company project control policies and industry best practices
• Maintain accurate planning documentation, dashboards, and project performance indicatorFunctional Pre-Requisites Skills:
• Project planning and scheduling expertise
• Primavera P6 / MS Project proficiency
• Progress monitoring and reporting
• Critical path method (CPM) analysis
• Delay analysis and recovery scheduling
• Strong coordination and stakeholder managementExperience: 8–12 years of relevant experience in project planning and controls within industrial,construction, or manufacturing sectors like ((Aluminium, Steel, Marble, Joinery, PODS, Readymix, GRC, Modular & Duct, Fitout, Precast Factories)
