Demand OperationsDevelop demand forecasts at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizonsReview historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast resultsCross-functional research activities to reconcile significant variances and refine the forecast model to reflect updated sales and marketing assumptionsUtilize a collaboration and consensus approach by working with Sales, Marketing, and Finance to obtain and ensure that current and accurate information is used for demand forecastsAssist in developing new or optimizing existing methods of supply, including emergency strategies, by using corporate standard conceptsPerforms quantitative and qualitative evaluations, considering impact to logistics costs and structure.Investigates supply methods such as: transportation, packaging, source of supply, and material flow for new or existing suppliers as well as new supplier selection processinitiates, investigates and develops medium to long term planning strategies influencing supplier selection as well as initiates and implements process improvements by being innovative and creativemonitor the inventory of warehouses and ensure that slow and non-moving inventory will be communicated to all concerns for immediate actionsPrepare reports and statistics related to the demand planning and forecastingUse and maintain the Demand Planning Software as the primary forecasting system toolPolicies, Processes and ProceduresFollow all relevant Supply Chain policies, processes, standard operating procedures and instructions so that work is carried out in a controlled and consistent mannerContribute to the identification of opportunities for continuous improvement of systems, processes and practices taking into account leading practices, improvement of business processes, cost reduction and productivity improvementPromote the implementation and adherence to policies, processes and operating procedures to others within AIC
