Best Foot Forward Podiatry and Orthotics aims to create a supportive environment where clinicians can grow their skills while contributing to improved patient outcomes.Role Description This is a full-time hybrid Podiatrist role based in Melbourne, VIC. The Podiatrist will assess, diagnose, and manage a variety of foot and lower limb conditions, including musculoskeletal issues, nail and skin pathologies, and diabetic foot complications. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting comprehensive clinical assessments, developing treatment plans, prescribing and modifying orthotics, and providing patient education on foot health and prevention. The role also involves collaborating with other healthcare professionals, maintaining accurate clinical documentation, and participating in quality improvement and practice development activities.Qualifications Clinical expertise in Podiatry and Medicine relevant to foot and lower limb care.Strong knowledge of Biomechanics and experience in assessing gait and functional movement or an attitude to learn and grow. Skills in Orthotics prescription, fitting, and adjustment for a range of conditions.Experience in Diabetes-related foot care, including risk assessment and prevention of complications.Recognized qualification in Podiatry and current registration or eligibility for registration with the appropriate professional board.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a commitment to patient-centered care.Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team in a busy clinical environment.Experience in private practice and familiarity with clinical documentation and practice management systems is an advantage.
