Role: Procurement and Supply Chain consultant Role type: Contract / Independent consulting / 1099 Consulting Seniority: Consultant - Manager Project duration(s): 6 months Location: Charlotte, NC, United States We’re supporting a specialist supply chain and operations consultancy on strategic procurement engagements, helping clients reduce cost, improve supplier performance and build more effective, data-led procurement functions. The work spans spend analysis, category strategy, sourcing, supplier optimisation and implementation of sustainable procurement improvements. Tasks Analyse spend, supplier and category data to identify cost-saving and value-creation opportunities Develop and implement category, sourcing and supplier optimisation strategies with cross-functional client teams Establish robust procurement processes, performance tracking and governance to ensure savings and benefits are sustained An independent consultant 3+ years’ experience in strategic procurement, sourcing or category management Strong experience in spend analysis, supplier management and cost reduction Consulting experience preferred, with strong client and stakeholder management skills This is an independent consulting opportunity, where you'll be paid a daily rate
