Procurement Director

We are seeking an accomplished Procurement Director to lead procurement strategy and execution for major, complex projects in the Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.The ideal candidate will be a Western-educated procurement professional with approximately 25 years of experience, including significant exposure to mega projects and preferably a strong PMC (Project Management Consultancy) background.Requirements25+ years of progressive procurement experience, preferably within construction, infrastructure, engineering, or major capital projectsWestern education from a recognized university/institutionProven track record managing procurement for mega projects in the GCCStrong PMC experience is highly preferredExtensive experience developing and implementing procurement strategies for large, complex projectsStrong understanding of contracts, tendering, vendor management, commercial negotiations, and supply-chain managementDemonstrated ability to lead large, multicultural procurement teams and work effectively with clients, consultants, contractors, and senior stakeholdersStrong knowledge of GCC procurement practices, market conditions, and major international suppliers/contractorsExcellent leadership, negotiation, communication, and stakeholder-management skillsExperience working on high-value, fast-paced projects with demanding delivery schedules
