Procurement Engineer

‏⁦JOB DESCRIPTION Procurement EngineerJob PurposeTo procure materials, equipment, and technical services for projects in accordance with engineering specifications and at the best value, ensuring that purchasing decisions are technically sound.Key Duties and ResponsibilitiesReview technical purchase requisitions for projects and verify specifications and quantities in coordination with the Projects Department and Technical Office.Prepare technical specifications and request for quotation (RFQ) documents for materials, equipment, and specialized works.Conduct technical evaluations of supplier and subcontractor proposals and prepare technical and commercial comparisons.Prequalify technical suppliers and material manufacturers, conducting site visits as required.Monitor project material delivery schedules and align them with construction schedules.Inspect materials upon receipt and verify compliance with specifications and approved samples in coordination with the supervision team.Propose equivalent alternatives or value engineering solutions that reduce costs while maintaining quality.Maintain and update the database of material prices and technical suppliers.Qualifications and ExperienceBachelor’s degree in Civil, Architectural, Mechanical, or Electrical Engineering.A minimum of four years of experience in technical procurement or construction project procurement.Membership in the Saudi Council of Engineers; CIPS or CPSM certification is preferred.Proficiency in Arabic and technical English.Skills and CompetenciesAbility to interpret engineering drawings and specifications.Technical evaluation.Quantity takeoff.Negotiation.Knowledge of the construction materials market.Accuracy and attention to detail.The deadline for submitting resumes is 29/10/2026.⁩
