Project Engineer / Civil Engineer

Role Description This is a part-time remote role for a Project Engineer / Civil Engineer. The role involves supporting civil engineering projects related to site development, stormwater systems, and infrastructure design. Day-to-day tasks include preparing design calculations and drawings, assisting in site layout and grading plans, and contributing to stormwater management solutions that comply with regulatory requirements. The Project Engineer / Civil Engineer will review project documentation for accuracy, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and help maintain quality control standards throughout the project lifecycle. The role may also involve coordinating with external stakeholders, supporting project scheduling, and contributing to technical reports and presentations.QualificationsCandidates should possess skills in Civil Engineering and Civil Engineering Design for infrastructure and site-related projects.Candidates should possess skills in Stormwater Management to develop compliant drainage and water control solutions.Candidates should possess skills in Site Development, including grading, utilities planning, and layout coordination.Candidates should possess skills in Quality Control to review designs, documents, and project deliverables for accuracy and compliance.Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or a related field; professional licensure or progress toward licensure is an advantage.Experience with CAD or civil design software (e.g., AutoCAD Civil 3D) and familiarity with relevant codes and standards.Strong analytical, problem-solving, and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and managing multiple tasks and deadlines in an engineering project setting.
