Project Engineer (Interior Fit-out)

A Project Engineer for interior fit-out manages the day-to-day execution, site supervision, and technical coordination of commercial, retail, or corporate interior projects.Key Responsibilities* Site Execution & Supervision: Oversee civil works, partitions, false ceilings, flooring, carpentry, painting, and MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) installations according to approved designs.* Drawing & Technical Coordination: Read and interpret AutoCAD layouts, shop drawings, and structural details, bridging the gap between design teams and site workers.* Material & Manpower Planning: Coordinate with stores, purchase departments, and subcontractors to ensure timely material delivery, accurate quantities, and proper labor deployment.* Quality & Safety Control: Inspect workmanship at every stage, track progress against schedules, enforce safety/PPE guidelines, and minimize material wastage and rework.* Stakeholder Reporting: Maintain daily site logs, track measurements, record material consumption, and update Project Managers on site milestones.Required Qualifications & Skills* Education: Diploma or B.E./B.Tech in Civil Engineering, Interior Design, or Construction Management.* Experience: Typically 2 to 7 years in luxury residential fit-outs, commercial office fit-outs, retail shopfitting, or turnkey interior execution.* Technical Skills: Proficiency in AutoCAD, reading Bill of Quantities (BOQ), MS Office/Excel, and basic project planning.
