The ideal candidate will support the mammalian protein expression group by performing basic mammalian cell culture and molecular biology techniques for various protein expression needs. Key Objectives/DeliverablesProvide general molecular biology support (bacterial transformation, plasmid preparation, gel electrophoresis, PCR and cloning)Maintain mammalian cells and prepare cell culture to conduct transfection/protein expression experiment Assistance in general lab tasks and supply managementWork collaboratively with PBS team on-site to achieve critical research objectives and timelines.Detail oriented and precise in routine lab practiceAppropriate documentation of all experimental results in eLN QualificationsBachelor’s degree in biology, molecular biology, biochemistry, or similar disciplineExperience in mammalian cell culture and DNA plasmid preparation. Additional InformationPosition is full-time, 1st shift, Monday-Friday 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM.
