By combining experienced teaching with practical exam strategies, the campus aims to create brighter academic and professional futures for its students.Role Description The PTE Instructor is responsible for delivering high-quality, exam-focused lessons that cover all PTE modules, including speaking, writing, reading, and listening. Day-to-day tasks include planning and conducting classes, assessing student performance, providing detailed feedback, and adjusting teaching methods to meet diverse learning needs. The instructor will create and update lesson materials, conduct practice tests, track progress, and offer guidance on exam strategies and time management. This is a full-time, on-site role based in Jaffna, requiring regular collaboration with colleagues to improve teaching resources and overall student outcomes.Qualifications Strong command of English language skills, including speaking, reading, writing, and listening, with the ability to model accurate and clear usage.Experience in test preparation or language teaching, preferably with PTE or similar standardized English proficiency exams.Ability to design structured lessons, create practice materials, and use diverse teaching strategies to support different learning styles.Competence in assessing student performance, providing constructive feedback, and maintaining organized records of progress.Excellent classroom management, interpersonal communication, and the ability to motivate and support learners from varied backgrounds.Comfort with basic educational technology and digital tools for content delivery, practice activities, and student tracking.Diploma or degree in English, Education, Linguistics, or a related field; relevant teaching certifications are an advantage.Prior experience working in a training institute or campus setting and familiarity with the local context in Jaffna is beneficial.
