QC Engineer – Sheet Metal & Stainless Steel (Ex-Proof / QAN & QAR Required)

In this role, you will be responsible for developing, implementing, and maintaining quality control processes and ensuring strict compliance with international standards and hazardous area (Ex) requirements. You will hold full authority to inspect, approve, or reject raw materials, in-process fabrications, and finished products. Mandatory QualificationsTo be considered for this role, candidates must meet all of the following requirements:Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or similar; and Certification in Quality Management. Experience: Proven hands-on experience as a Quality Control Engineer in the sheet metal fabrication industry, with specific experience in stainless steel fabrication. Technical Domain Expertise: Direct, demonstrated knowledge of Ex-Proof requirements and QAN / QAR (Quality Assurance Notification / Report) processes.

Location: Candidates must be based in Dubai, UAE.Key ResponsibilitiesQuality Systems & Inspection: Design, establish, and execute quality control processes, inspection routines, and physical/mechanical testing procedures for sheet metal components and assemblies.

Ex / Hazardous Area Compliance: Coordinate compliance testing activities with third-party accredited laboratories for IECEx and ATEX certifications. Quality Sign-off Authority: Exercise primary authority to approve or reject raw materials and finished products based on defined quality standards. Product Marking & Traceability: Ensure all products intended for explosive atmospheres are accurately marked and labeled with Ex markings in accordance with IECEx/ATEX directives. Defect & Trend Analysis: Conduct root cause analysis (RCA) on defects and non-conformities, implement corrective actions, and prepare detailed quality documentation and test reports. Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with fabrication and management teams to integrate quality control standards across all operations.
