Quality & Fabric Inspection Manager

Job DescriptionOur client is one of the largest fully integrated textile and apparel manufacturing groups in Egypt, serving globally recognized fashion brands across Europe and the United States.As part of its growing organization in Egypt, we are looking for a “Quality & Fabric Inspection Manager” to lead fabric quality control and inspection operations, with a particular focus on knitted fabrics.About the RoleThe Quality & Fabric Inspection Manager will be responsible for overseeing fabric quality throughout the manufacturing process, ensuring compliance with technical specifications and international customer standards.This position requires strong expertise in knitted fabric quality control, fabric testing, colour evaluation, and dyehouse quality processes. The successful candidate will manage in-process quality control, dyehouse quality inspections, and final fabric inspection during rolling, ensuring consistent quality and minimizing defects.Reporting to the Factory Manager, the role will drive continuous improvement across fabric inspection and quality assurance operations.ResponsibilitiesLeading and managing fabric quality control and inspection operations, with a particular focus on knitted fabricsOverseeing in-process quality control throughout fabric production to identify and prevent defectsManaging final fabric inspection during rolling, ensuring compliance with quality standards and customer specificationsSupervising knitted fabric testing procedures and evaluating technical quality parametersMonitoring colour consistency, shade variations, and colour-related quality issuesOverseeing dyehouse quality control processes and ensuring consistent fabric quality throughout dyeing and finishingIdentifying root causes of quality defects and implementing corrective and preventive actionsEstablishing and maintaining quality standards, inspection procedures, and reporting systemsLeading, developing, and managing a team of approximately 70 employeesCollaborating closely with the Factory Manager and production teams to improve quality performance and operational efficiencyQualificationsBachelor’s degree in Textile Engineering or a relevant engineering discipline10–15 years of experience in textile quality control, preferably in a Quality Control Manager or Quality Control Supervisor positionStrong expertise in knitted fabric quality control and inspection processesSolid knowledge of knitted fabric testing methods and technical quality parametersStrong colour knowledge, including shade evaluation and colour consistency controlProven experience in dyehouse quality control, preferably within integrated textile manufacturing facilitiesExperience managing both in-process quality control and final fabric inspection during rollingProven team management and leadership experienceStrong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a focus on defect prevention and continuous improvementFluency in English or Arabic is required
