Quality Assurance Engineer

Role Description This is a part-time hybrid Quality Assurance Engineer role based in Dubai, United Arab Emirates, with flexibility for some work from home. The Quality Assurance Engineer will design, execute, and maintain test cases to ensure the reliability and quality of software and automation solutions. Day-to-day tasks include performing manual testing, documenting defects, collaborating with developers and project engineers to resolve issues, and verifying that software changes meet functional and performance requirements. The role also involves participating in test planning, reviewing requirements for testability, and contributing to continuous improvement of QA processes and standards.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Quality Assurance and Software Testing to validate system functionality and performance.Candidates should possess skills in Test Execution and Manual Testing to carry out planned tests and identify defects in real-world scenarios.Candidates should possess skills in designing and managing Test Cases to ensure comprehensive coverage of functional and non-functional requirements.Familiarity with testing tools, bug tracking systems, and version control platforms is beneficial.Relevant education in computer science, engineering, or a related technical field is preferred.Strong analytical thinking, attention to detail, and clear written and verbal communication skills are required.Ability to work effectively in a hybrid environment, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and manage part-time schedules is important.Experience in industrial automation, control systems, or similar engineering domains is an advantage.
