R&D Director

Serioplast, a Global Leader in Rigid Plastic Packaging, is looking for an experienced R&D Director to lead our global Research & Development function at the Global Headquarters.In this strategic role, you will define the R&D roadmap, lead multidisciplinary teams, and work closely with Sales, Procurement, Operations, and Project Management to ensure the successful development and implementation of new products and technologies that strengthen our competitive position worldwide.What you will do:Define and execute the company's global R&D strategyManage the R&D project portfolio, balancing priorities, resources, quality, timing, and costsLead the development and industrialisation of packaging solutionsDrive product innovation by identifying new technologies, materials, and market trendsBuild strong partnerships with customers and cross-functional teams to deliver successful product development projectsWhat we're looking for:Degree in Engineering or another relevant scientific disciplineSignificant leadership experience in R&D, Product Development, or Engineering within FMCG or a related manufacturing industryRelevant Experience with Plastics Packaging Solutions and related technologiesStrong knowledge of plastic moulding technologies (EBM, SBM, and Injection Moulding)Proven experience in product development, industrialisation, and project managementExcellent communication skills and fluency in EnglishCompetitive compensation package, starting from € 85,000 gross per year, plus company car and variable incentive plan.
