This role is responsible for providing comprehensive preventive dental services, including dental prophylaxis, periodontal assessments, and nonsurgical periodontal therapies. Day-to-day tasks include performing thorough oral health evaluations, taking and reviewing dental radiographs, documenting clinical findings, and collaborating with dentists on treatment plans. The hygienist will educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, disease prevention, and therapies tailored to their individual needs, while supporting a calm, patient-centered experience. Additional responsibilities include maintaining strict infection control standards, preparing and sterilizing instruments, and contributing to a collaborative, team-oriented practice environment.QualificationsCandidates should possess strong clinical skills in Dentistry and Dental Care to support comprehensive patient treatment.Candidates should possess focused expertise in Hygiene and Dental Prophylaxis to deliver high-quality preventive services.Candidates should possess knowledge and experience in managing Periodontal Disease, including assessment, treatment, and patient education.Current Registered Dental Hygienist (RDH) license in the state of Illinois, with compliance to all regulatory and continuing education requirements.Proficiency in taking and interpreting dental radiographs, using modern dental technology, and following rigorous infection control and sterilization protocols.Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to provide clear patient education and work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.Commitment to patient-centered care, attention to detail, and the ability to manage time and multiple patients efficiently in a fast-paced clinical setting.
