Ethmar International Holding (EIH) and FutureLife Group are bringing the internationally renowned Institut Marquès assisted reproductive technology (ART) centre to Abu Dhabi, strengthening the emirate's position as a global hub for healthcare innovation.Institut Marquès Abu Dhabi is looking for a Registered Nurse with IVF experience, currently based in Dubai or Northtern Emirates, for our operating theatre to provide safe, specialised care for patients during egg collection and embryo transfer, supporting them through some of the most important moments of their fertility journey.About the RoleYou will prepare the procedure environment, assist fertility consultants and anaesthetists during oocyte pick-up (OPU) and embryo transfer, and provide pre- and post-procedure care. Working alongside embryologists and multidisciplinary colleagues, you will ensure every procedure follows approved protocols, infection prevention standards, DOH requirements, and JCI standards.Key ResponsibilitiesAssess and prepare patients before procedures, including identity checks, consent verification, and baseline observationsPrepare the theatre and procedure room, including equipment, sterile supplies, and emergency readinessAssist consultants and anaesthetists during OPU and embryo transfer, maintaining aseptic techniqueSupport sedation and anaesthesia, monitoring patients and responding to changes promptlyCoordinate specimen transfer with the embryology laboratory under approved witnessing and traceability protocolsProvide post-procedure care, monitoring for complications such as bleeding and OHSS, and guide dischargeMaintain accurate perioperative records and follow surgical safety checklistsFollow infection prevention, sterilisation, and waste management standardsWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Nursing from a recognised institutionValid DOH Abu Dhabi Registered Nurse licence, or eligibility to obtain oneAt least 2–3 years of post-registration clinical nursing experienceExperience in an operating theatre, day surgery, or procedure room, ideally in an IVF or fertility centreExperience assisting with oocyte pick-up and embryo transfer, or in gynaecology and women's healthKnowledge of IVF treatment pathways and conscious sedation supportStrong understanding of aseptic technique, infection prevention, and perioperative safetyCurrent Basic Life Support (BLS) certificationCalm, compassionate manner and clear communication under pressureFluent English, spoken and writtenWhy Join Us?Join a new fertility centre at the start of its story in Abu Dhabi.
