Robotics Software EngineerSouth Bay Area, Los Angeles, CA - On-site Up to $180K + EquityAre you a software engineer passionate about autonomous systems, AI and building technology that interacts with the physical world?We're working with an exciting early-stage robotics startup developing next-generation warehouse automation, combining advanced robotics and AI to tackle complex real-world tasks.Having recently secured seed funding, the company is entering an exciting phase of growth, expanding its engineering capabilities and taking its technology further into real-world deployments. It's a great opportunity to join early, work alongside experienced roboticists and make a tangible impact on the product.What you'll be doingDevelop robotics software using C++ and Python across navigation, perception and motion planning.Improve autonomous navigation and obstacle avoidance in dynamic environments.Build teleoperation tools and integrate robots with warehouse management systems.Deploy and test software using ROS2, Linux and Docker.Take ownership of features from development through to real-world deployment.What they're looking forExperience with ROS2, ROS1 or similar middleware.Comfortable with Linux/Ubuntu and Git.Hands-on interest in robotics, autonomous systems and hardware integration.Exposure to computer vision, SLAM, motion planning or embedded systems.Experience with Docker, robotic manipulation or warehouse/logistics systems is a bonus. A relevant degree is beneficial, but practical project experience is equally valued.What's in it for you?Up to $180K base salary+ equity.
