Robotisation and AI specialist

Kronospan is focused on achieving operational excellence with relentless attention to safety and sustainability.To support our continued growth and operational transformation, we are looking for an Automation, Robotisation & AI Specialist to automate and robotise our production and business processes in Riga, using industrial automation, robotics and artificial intelligence.Your responsibilities will be to:Identify, design and implement automation and robotisation solutions for production and business processesDevelop and deploy AI and machine learning solutions that make automated processes smarter Introduce and extend robotic and automated solutions on our production lines, step by step, in close cooperation with production and maintenance teamsAutomate repetitive business processes using RPA, workflow tools and AI (including generative AI and LLM-based assistants)Integrate automation, robotics and AI systems with existing equipment and IT infrastructure Analyse production and process data to find bottlenecks and automation opportunities, and measure the resultsEvaluate and select suitable automation technologies, robots, tools and AI frameworksQualificationsDegree in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Data Science, Artificial Intelligence or equivalentPractical experience in process automation, industrial automation or robotics (production environment is a strong advantage)Analytical mindset with a structured, independent, hands-on approach to problem-solvingStrong team player with good communication skills; able to work with production and maintenance staffFluent English; knowledge of Latvian is an advantageAdditional InformationChallenging, responsible role with real development opportunitiesStructured onboarding programmeCollaborative working environment with flat hierarchiesSubsidised canteen, free parking and EV charging stations on site
